Living Loved
First of all, welcome to everyone who is reading my blog for the very first time! Thanks so much for joining me on my journey to Japan! Right now, I'm waiting to see if I am accepted to Eternity Bible College... Just waiting. It's not easy, but I'm learning so much in this season.
God has been teaching that His love never changes. It doesn't matter if I'm at home or overseas; going to school or working at home. His love is constant, and I don't have to do anything to make Him love me. It's easy to have the mindset that once I'm going to Bible college, once I'm living in Japan as a missionary, once I'm married, then my life will be complete. But no, God loves me right now. And that's enough.
I am learning to live and rest in His love every day, even the days that don't feel important. Nothing compares to knowing God, and if I fully understood His great love for me, I think I would be satisfied to live right now, enjoying each moment, without worrying about the future. Living loved means I don't have to do anything to earn God's acceptance; I'm free to BE His daughter. I am complete in Him.
"See how very much our Father loves us, for He calls us His children, and that is what we are!"
